What is TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam 

Teacher Eligibility Test is a test done by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) every year to improve the teaching method of Teacher. TET is also known by the name of Teachers (Teacher’s Eligibility Test) Teacher Eligibility Test.Now to become a teacher, it is not enough to be a graduate and get a degree of B.Ed, the Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) has been started by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) every year to create a method of teaching teachers of schools. . Candidates getting at least 60 percent marks in this test can get jobs for teachers in government and private schools.

TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam Pattern 

This examination is done by NCET, which contains 150-digit questions which must be completed in 150 minutes. All questions are multiple choice. The TET exam is different for primary and junior level, both exams have five sections

How to prepare effectively for TET in less time

Record time to solve questions : 

Whenever you solve problems, record the time it takes to solve them. This will tell you which part you have to do before in the exam and you can also increase the speed of solving the questions.

Read a week ago :

Understand the exam pattern well – you can prepare for the exam according to the exam pattern and syllabus. The key to success in examinations is that you understand the nature of the exam. At the same time, you have to understand what standards the recruitment department wants to see.

Know your abilities :

At different times of the day, the level of physical and mental energy of each individual can be different. For example, some people feel more fresh and energetic in the morning, then some people in the evening or at night time. Some people get up in the morning and remember to read more, then some have been taught late night, so at the time you feel more refreshed and upset, keep that time for your studies.

Stay stress free :

While preparing for the exam, always remain stress free, so that you can not get upset without your floor.

Practice through the Mock Test :

Take the mock test every day before the examination. If you take a day-to-day mock test before the exam, you will know the difficulties encountered while taking the exam in which you can try and improve. The mock test is prepared in the same way as the paper comes when you prepare for the exam by the mock test, it becomes known to you which part you are having trouble which you have to overcome.

This topic is similar to both paper (Paper 1 and Paper 2). At this time you should prepare important topics well. The important subject of this topic is – Prepare well the topics of Growth and Development Stages, Individual Variations, Mental Health and Interest, Piazza, Kohlberg and Vyotsky’s Principles, Gender, Inclusive Education etc. Apart from this, the study related to education, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, the establishment and purpose of central schools, National Education Policy, National Curriculum Framework etc. must be done.

HINDI ;- 

In Hindi a question and a phrase, questions related to Hindi language teaching, questions related to language development and almost all parts of grammar are asked questions. For this, seek the help of NCERT’s Hindi books from class I to 10. And along with the old you must solve the old question paper.

English :

In this, there are questions from two unread passes respectively. Strengthen Vocabulary in English To strengthen the vocabulary, remember 10 new words of English daily on our blog. Apart from this, prepare the topic of Part of Speech, Tense, Idioms, Antonyms, Synonyms, Figures of Speech etc. well. For preparation, the NCERT books of English from class 1 to 10 will be very beneficial. Practice these questions for success in this topic.

social study:

This section contains the most questions from history. After this, questions are asked about geography and politics. For this, you will have to study the NCERT’s Social Studies books again and again from class 6 to 12. Apart from this, solve the question on social studies. Continuous practice is the key to success. Practice these questions for success in this topic.

Science and mathematics :

To prepare for this part, read the science books from NCERT’s class 6 to 8 deeply and make notes in your language. Continuous practice is necessary for mathematics. For this, you solve the daily section test.

Minimum Eligibility Conditions

  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education).

For TGT(Non-Medical)

  • B.Sc.(NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.)

Shastri

  • Shastri with at least 50% marks from an institution/University recognized by H.P.
    Government.

Language Teacher

  • B.A. with Hindi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whichever name known).
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor  in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
  • Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) .
  • M.A. (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

For Junior Basic Training (JBT)

  • 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Govt.
  • M.A. (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

For Junior Basic Training (JBT)

  • 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Govt.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)
  • Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

For Punjabi Language Teacher

  • B.A. withPunjabi as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • A with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
  • M.A. (Punjabi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year
    Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Note: Graduation from a recognized University with Punjabi as a subject during the three year of graduation,B.Ed. with teaching of Punjabi (State Teacher Eligibility
    Test) and
    Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test) Punjabi language Teacher duly conducted by
    H.P.Board of School Education Dharamsala.

For Urdu Language Teacher

  • B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelorin Education (B.Ed.)]
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
  • B.T. with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English & one additional subject with 50%marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
  • M.A. (Urdu) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Note:-I. Adeeb-Kamil from jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/equivalent to B.A with Urdu.
  • Moallim-e Urdu from jamia Urdu Aligarh will be considered/equivalent to B.Ed.for teaching Urdu.
  • Pass in Urdu Language Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by H.P.Board
    of School Education Dharamsala.
